Complete Honesty is Not Regular Honesty

Vitamin X supports immune health. True statement. Not a lie.

But almost all essential vitamins support immune health. Vitamin X only helps if you are deficient. If you already get enough from food, taking more does nothing. High doses may even have side effects.

The statement is honest. The implication is bullshit.

Scientific integrity means you include the information that works against you. Not just the information that isn't "technically" false. You bend over backwards to show how you might be wrong.

This is not the same as regular honesty. This is a higher standard.
