Take Risks

Take risks.

If you never fail, you're playing it too safe, which means you're boring.

The Greeks had Tyche. The Romans had Fortuna. The Hindus have Ganesha.

Gods of luck. Fortune. Chance.

It was humility. Honor for the gods of fortune. Acknowledge that you don't control everything.

You need luck.

Massive amounts of luck. Especially if you're doing your own thing instead of hiding in some corporate structure.

Sure, "luck is preparation meeting opportunity" sounds wise when you are a guest on a podcast but there's also pure random chance you can't control.

The answer is take more shots.

Take risks that don't ruin you completely.
